A BBC Documentary providing unique insights into the working life of one of the world’s most acclaimed musicians: the conductor Sir Simon Rattle.

This is Germany. Everything is sacred here. So you can always upset some people. But the whole idea of staging a Bach Passion was very hard. It was up 2 years with the orchestra and still some people begging me not to do it.
